Cropping View Distorts Certain Hatch Patterns

I found this when working on a drawing using SW2017 SP5.  The problem can be easily duplicated.  Below is an image of a drawing of a simple disk with four rectangular extruded cuts.  The rectangular faces are hatched using  the AEC Sand, AEC Stone, Concrete and Dots patterns respectively.  The red rectangle is sketch geometry in the drawing view.  Everything looks good:

If I crop the view using the red rectangle, the hatching gets distorted/corrupted with vertical bands of missing data:

If I change the size or shape of the cropping rectangle, the bands still appear in exactly the same places:

I tried this with a variety of hatch patterns and the only ones with the problem seem to be patterns that include individual pixels.  There are more than just the 4 shown above (e.g. Fire Brick, Mud and Sand).  Before I submit this to my VAR , I would appreciate it if someone would verify the behavior, particularly with SW2018.  I'm not going to bother reporting it if it is already fixed.  Test files are attached.
