I am working on a project which has weldments. Layout shape is complicated triangles inside a triangles inside a triangles. There are 3 different profiles that goes on that layout. first weldment feature is created with profile 1 with proper cutouts and trim options and i want to copy same trim options for profile 2 and 3. It will take really long time to edit complicated weldments. Is there a way we can copy weldment feature and just change profile and it rebuilds same exact trim options??
I'm not 100% sure if I know what you're saying.....Could you do a save as and change it to what you want?

There is no "Auto" button.
If you create a copy of your file like Christopher mentioned, it will greatly depend on you selection.
for example,if you change 3" SQ Tube to a 4" SQ and you selected face for trim feature most likely will work fine still probably have to re select a few faces.
if the Profile is different all together i would roll back to the beginning and step thru 1 feature at a time an select the proper face .
OK, I don't think that you can copy a weldment feature inside an individual part...however.......did you know that for your weldment structural member, you can select the sketch from the tree instead of individual lines and arcs?
Therefore, I would suggest that, if you already have the entire sketch structure in just 1 3D sketch then I would split the 3d Sketch into multiple sketches (you can easily do this by creating a 2nd or 3rd 3d sketch and convert entities on the items that are going into 1 particular feature or group).
So 1 3d sketch for each feature or group.
Then, when you create your structural member, and it asks for the path segments, just select the entire sketch. This should save you some time in selecting individual sketch segments.
You can even leave the original 3d sketch as a driving sketch for all the other sketches, since they will be converted from the first one.
