Eliminate Unwanted reflections in gold?

Need a little help.

Trying to figure a way to work around the problem illustrated in the attached jpg. This is a gold contact with tin coated bottom next to a solder pad mounted to a PCB board. I am trying to figure out a way to limit the reflection from the board onto the silver and gold. you can see it has a negative affect on the composition.

Any thoughts on this? I am using a modified version of the gold provided with SW...essentially making it appear more rich. I am using a 'rough' version of tin thinking the 'distress' in the metal would help minimize the dice.

I am lighting the scene with Mike Wilson's "the Bridge" hdri. Have spent time on the lighting, the textures and the material properties but unable to really eliminate the problem.

Any help would be appreciated.
