Yes, I would like it to pass through like it is just a wire, but be able to do 3d wiring with the connectors. Its not a huge issue if this isn't possible.

I can also see a person just creating a symbol for each connector, and as long as you have 2 connection points on the circuit that line up when you place the shells, the same concept would work. Hope this helps!

Do you have a picture to demonstrate what you're going for? You can insert connectors and place them side by side in line, the question would be if you want the wire information passing where those connectors join?
