I'm trying to reset standard views but when I hit the spacebar, the window does not pop up for me to reset views. How do I fix this? I Recently upgraded to SW 2018 and that's when this problem started.
All the spacebar does is bring up the view orientation. Are you trying to rotate to one of those views or are you trying to actually reset a view?
Trying to reset a view.

That "Orientation" window is what I'm looking for, mine doesn't pop up. Perhaps off screen, maybe?

I understood what you meant. Did you see my reply above?
If you're referring to the "Customize" window screen shot, yes, I saw your reply.

So does that mean you checked, and it is still assigned?
This window does not appear........... this screen shot is from you tube.
It almost seems like the window is off screen, just a guess.
Trying to understand what you really mean when you say "reset a view". Are you trying to change what you see on the screen or are you trying to reset the views so that the front view is something else?
Make sure the keyboard shortcut hasn't somehow been reassigned.
try ctrl+Spacebar to bring up the View selector.
check your settings, maybe you lost the shortcut.
It's not the shortcut I'm looking for. Getting to the view(s) is no a problem. I need this window to appear so I can reset a standard view.
Now I am confused. You state that using the spacebar does not bring up the window and are trying to figure out how to get it. Glenn and Andreas pointed you to how to find the window. The spacebar is simply a shortcut. Maybe it got reassigned? If you check in the custom settings you can look up the orientation command and could set it back to the spacebar or any other thing you desire.
Another option would be to use the heads-up display on top.

Maybe you're right and it's off screen.
From another thread, all credit to Josh Brady.
Hit Alt, then Space, then M (not holding down, just hit 'em). Then hit an arrow key. That will put the dialog into "move it around" mode, and you can then move your mouse around (don't click, just move the mouse) until you see the dialog.
Hope this helps.!
Thanks everyone for your responses. An office colleague showed me a different way to change, or, reset a view. So if I want to change a front view to the left view, all I have to do is click on front view, right click on my part and the pull down window that pops up has the answer. I realize the replies got confusing but it's one of those times where I knew what I was thinking in my head but not writing it down properly. It's got to be a mid-week crises. Thanks ya'll.
