In my part, colors are created 'automatically', and the colors are somehow related to the draft analysis (green, red, yellow, etc.).
But I have no clue where I, accidentally, activated this setting. How can I turn it off please?
Andre, I'd check and see if the toggle for "Draft Analysis" is still on. If so turning it off should resolve the issue. It can be found under the "Evaluate" tab.
Draft Analysis "On"
Draft Analysis "Off"
thank you for replying John,
The draft analysis is 'off'. But what remains are actual color changes to my part! Very weird!
So my issue is not solved yet.
try right clicking on the ball with color here and select remove appearance. see if that works to remove the color.
Thank you Tom, I did that and it works.
But the colors keep coming back.
Can you load your part for us to check out?
unfortunately not, due to proprietary risk.
I will try to re-create issue on a new part....
Hi Tom, attached is the file....
if I right click on the model here and hit "appearance" then "remove all part appearances from" this deletes all the colors from the part.
at least it did on my computer. I even saved your part to my desktop and renamed and closed and reopened and it worked. Tom
Hi Tom, I can delete the colors - no issue there - they keep re-appearing. And when they do it kind of random.
Maybe there is some bug related to our PDM, Windows, etc.
Did you try to draft analysis with face classification option?
Trying to pinpoint the issue a bit more: Is there any SW function or setting, that you know, that assigns face colors to parts automatically?
You've clicked the 'Display Manager' tab, just click another tab.
Not sure what your comment what you mean Steve....
