Good morning,
I'm trying to adjust the number of decimal places in the "Measure" tool, but when I click on the "Units/Precision" button, the top part of the box gets cleared out, and I can't do anything else. I have to close the command and restart it to do anything. I have the units in the document properties set for 3 decimal places, but there are times I want a little more precision, and I can't get it to work. This is rather frustrating.

When you click on Units/Precision do you get this box...
If you do change the decimal places: (circled)
No, I'm not getting anything. The blue portion of the box clears, and I cannot do anything else. There is no popup or anything else.
The blue portion clears for me as well when the option box shown on the right opens.
Are you using 2 monitors?
Options box may be opening off of visible screen edge.
I was until yesterday. Hmmm. That's a very good point. That's when it stopped working. I'll have to wait until I get my new desk set up. At least I have an idea of why it's not working now.

Rick's got it. It's off your screen. Hit Alt, then Space, then M (not holding down, just hit 'em). Then hit an arrow key. That will put the dialog into "move it around" mode, and you can then move your mouse around (don't click, just move the mouse) until you see the dialog.
That worked! That's going in my Solidworks Tips & Tricks doc!
