Hi all,

I have a part that I have applied a default texture to. The texture is 'Burlap'.

Ideally on the part I have modelled, I want to use this texture but I want to apply it in two different shades of grey, one quite light and the other pretty dark.

The issue is that the burlap texture has a brown appearance to it and this brownness stays within the colour change no matter what I do.

For example, within the RGB scale a dark grey would be a setting of '64' across all three colour scales, but if I do this to the burlap appearance it is nothing at all like light grey. The same can be said for the setting of '192' for a normal light grey colour in RGB on all three scales but still there is a brownish tone within the appearance with Realview on.

Do I have to actually create a new p2m file for the texture?

Test part attached.............

Dave.
