In this case, is it ok to have an under defined sketch?

I'm making a helmet strap. I know the length and width dimensions have to be defined. Those remain constant in straps, but the angles of how the straps bend will vary greatly because straps are meant to be flexible. I can't fully define the sketch without giving it exact angles, but it just seems unnecessary. It seems to me like this would be a time to just let it go undefined as long as I specify the important dimensions, but I thought I would ask anyway.
