In this example knit surfaces option in Mirror is producing error result, while Surface-Knit tool is giving correct result. What is the reason for that?
If you turn on VOR your Surface-Knit1 fails.
Edit:... It looks like if you add some Direction2 curve influence for your Boundary-Surface4 you will be able to get this to knit with the mirror.
I wish to know whether I have to keep turn on or off VOR.
Personally I think it's a good idea leave it on. If there are unseen errors with features in the tree it can make it difficult or impossible to do some things you may want to do later on.. It would be interesting to see what others have to say about this. I know there are a few people that I work with from time to time that keep VOR off just so the errors won't show, then if I ever have to work with their models I go ballistic.. Of course they think I'm just a crazy, grouchy, old man (and they may be correct).. Doesn't bother them a bit.
