Two ways to do this:
Copy and paste the sketch (CTRL-C & CTRL-V). This will maintain the spline exactly.
Use convert entities, then use the "simplify spline" tool. This will recreate a spline over the current one. It will not necessarily be the same spline as before.
Could you not just copy the spline onto the other plane instead of converting it?

Good advice. Both methods work well enough. Copy & paste throws the copies to seemly random places, but they are easy to drag back. "Simplify spline" does the job and it's right on target, though I get grilled by SolidWorks with like three warning windows. No problem, they do what I want.
