Second entity is only there because it was added during testing to figure out whats wrong. Having a second mate reference there doesn't prevent the first from attaching. It only takes effect if the first is unsolvable. I've worked with Mate References before and know how they attach.
Interesting that your screen shot doesn't have the split line shown that is in the model. did you suppress it? If so, don't, I need this mate reference to work with the split line shown.
I don't know why the Mate Reference isn't working for you. To be honest, it worked for me immediately, but I thought it might work better for you with the second reference deleted. Maybe because I'm using SW2018? What version was that washer created with? I'd be curious to see if someone with the same version has the same problem.
And no, I didn't suppress the split line. It just wasn't showing since I have tangent edges set to not show.
It could be a version issue. While I am still championing to get the company to upgrade, we are still using 2014sp5. Thank you for looking into it.
