Hi I'm new to the community, so I apologize if I'm lacking any information or have posted in the wrong section. I'm using Solidworks 2016-2017 with an academic license.
I'm trying to create a circular pattern of a spherical subtraction feature (diameter 3mm). I want the features to be evenly spaced 120 degrees apart around the axis of rotation, but the radius of the pattern function pushes my would-be features off the surface (see below)
Is there a way to change the pattern function's radius so that it doesn't rotate the features so far away from the rotation of axis? Ideally, I'd like a pattern radius of 5.13mm.
If you figure out another work around, aside from drawing all three separately, I'd appreciate any tips. I've also attached the part file.
Thanks for the help!
