I have a large assembly with many rebuild errors. Is there a way I can stop saving the parent assembly/individual parts if it encounters rebuild.
Ahhh....yes I think that there is:
Add a Rebuild/Save mark to each configuration.
This will basically save the configuration data for each configuration in the file itself. It will mean a bigger file size, but it shouldn't need a rebuild each time.
I am not sure....but would this work?
Thanks for your response. Whenever I open any SolidWorks part that has configuration in it, the part automatically rebuilds and when I close the part it gives me a prompt that the part has been modified. Is there a way we can prevent such a type of rebuild and ensure SW does not prompt that the part has been changed.
