Thanks In Advance
The license for PDM standard does not expire, so I would be surprised if it stopped working when stopping subscription.
PDM standard will be live until the license is under subscription.

Thanks, Micheal Johnson for the update,
Now before implementing it in a full scale version, If I test it on a trial vault (let say some location on a server assigned for it),
I use it for few months and subscription ends then what happens to those files in the vault,
Can I dissolve that vault to work like a normal folder again or Do I need a migration or something like it to recover that data.
You can use PDM standard to fully extend when you're in the subscription period but once you're out of subscription you cant use vault or the file inside a vault.
Hopes this help..!

that sounds logical, If vaults are having cad files which are going to stay till products life, then one has to be in subscription forever, Now I am confused and I am hoping that the license is permanent, Can anybody put some light on this topic to reduce our confusion....That creates another problem. If products life is 5 years and if you add up the cost of 5 years of subscription to keep PDM working, it will exceed the cost of product itself which will make it un-viable.I hope it isnt that way or I am missing some important point here, plz suggest, we will appreciate . Thanks for promt reply.
Your VAR should be able to help you. I am pretty sure, currently only Visualize Standard and SolidWorks CAM Standard will end when your subscription ends.
I apologize for the wrong information, You can use PDM standard even if ur license is out of the subscription.
I will try to set up a Trial vault and will see how it works for some smaller Projects.
Thanks for the help
