Is it possible to make Part like i attached, but from sheet metal? Or i need to make two parts cylinder and ring and then weld it.
You are probably going to want to make this with a couple of configurations. I exaggerated the angle in my model. First do the cylinder as a sheet metal base flange, cut it (non normal), add the flange as a sweep. Then in another configuration suppress the flange, flatten it then add the flange in the flat pattern using offsets. I used a bend deduction on mine in order to determine the flange length. Use the configurations to go from formed to flat and vice-a-versa.
Hello Viktoras,.. you want to use a Insert/Sheetmetal/"Swept Flange"... it's just like a swept feature but for sheetmetal.
There have been post and examples here so, you can do a search for it or look at the Help.
well yes, i used swept flange and made part similar to this, but this part have one difference. Dont know how to make it when its angled.
Thank you Dennis, helping me out again
