... I can't do splitting surfaces with any plane, only with original X; Y; Z ones. Can you help me?
Can you share this specific part that you have created? OR can you share a screen shot of your feature tree?
The reason why I ask is that this plane that you have created is called "Plane2@3DSketch1"
How did you create this plane?
This isn't a "3Dsketch on plane" plane because those don't stick around after you exit the 3Dsketch.
I'll bet you didn't use Insert--> Reference Geometry--> Plane
Do you have an image or file of the issue? Someone will be able to explain more then.
Is this what you are after?

Tells me cannot open, future version. Do I need a fix to have this feature?
Thanks in advance!

If you are running a release other than 2018, you will not be able to open the file.
In a nutshell, I just made a new plane based on two of the existing planes, and then inserted a Split Line feature.
This is how it looks -
I picked the plane, and then picked all of the faces that I wanted to "Split".
As I see I have 2017 version. Can you tell me anything this way? Problem is plane won't be as large as my object optically, stays displayed "small" and won't effect my object. Can I create plane to a wrong place in the tree?
BR, thanks, David
A plane's size is subjective. The plane can stretch out to infinity, it has no dimensions. If you don't like the size you can always right click on it and select auto-size
2016 SOLIDWORKS Help - Automatic Sizing of Planes and Axes
The planes are basically "endless", you can just grab the ends and drag it out as much as you need -
You should be able to move a newly created plane around in the tree, but you will not be able to move it above the "parents".
Thanks Alex and Todd! Both were useful but I still have an error message of rebuild error, can't figure out why. Thanks in advance, again..
Can you upload your file?
I could but same effect appears on a whole new and simple model, attached.
The ''Split all'' box is unchecked, I believe that is what is causing your problem.
Thanks Alex!, but unfortunately same message with each settings..
We are trying to help. But I think you are using different terms and goals than what we are thinking. Please share screenshots with the feature tree visible. Or better yet a video. Or for the best, the file.
Also a clarification, are you trying to split a solid into two solids/bodies, or are you trying to split one or more faces of that solid/box into multiple faces/surfaces, but still a single solid? The latter is what the split line tool is usually used for. For the former, try cutting with surface/plane.
You did your best, I know! Answers were always pretty fast, it was my who was slow and newby. Finally Dan's hint worked with the Insert menu. I still a bit confused between planes and planes, which can be used for what, but now it works. Thanks for all of you!!
