Hey guys, I need to save a part with a certain view as DXF directly Is it possible?
If it's a part, save it as a DXF.
If it's an assembly, make a view in a drawing, then save the file as a DXF.
Optionally, then open it in Draftsight and delete the entities you don't want.
Before to save the file as DXF in DraftSight as it might want to save it as a DWG file.

Thanks, Kevin but I don't want to make a drawing. I am working with DriveWorks so drawings and DXFs of parts and assemblies are automatically created. I want something like a macro makes me able to select a certain view of the part and then generates the DXF.
If you want to make one DXF from 3D view, I don't think so
From a 2D view, yes you could
It's a sheetmetal stuff. I will create a 2D view into the part and i try to find a way to select that view into every part and create a DXF.
