I'm trying to analyze some components of a hydraulic lift table. I'm in the process of running a nonlinear assembly analysis with a prescribed displacement. I input the displacement as a fixture on one "ear" that the hydraulic cylinder will connect to and specify a displacement relative to some plane. However, doing it this way doesn't give me the reaction forces that would be felt on the other side of the hydraulic cylinder.
Can anyone help me find a way that I could do this analysis more accurately?
