I have a problem that my previews do not work in folders synced with OneDrive.
The previews work fine on network drives and normal local folders.
Is anyone else having this problem?
I believe I have found the solution.
Edmund, you were right about the files not being stored locally.
The latest windows update "Fall creators update" allows a new feature "files on demand" to activate designed to save space on your machine.
There are now 2 variations of the synced icon and only the green disk with white tick means the files are fully stored on your local drive.
To get my previews back I had to deactivate the "Files on demand" feature.
Why you don't use PDM remote or similar from Dassault? It's secure but One Drive or Dropbox don't
Check the Status. The files without a preview may not be currently synced to you computer.
If it has a cloud icon, the file isn't currently on your machine and therefore may not be able show a preview image.
Thanks for the response.
The files are definitely synced to my computer.
But previews work on normal local drives.
