Shearing stress isn't zero on outside corner

Question asked by Stefano Gobbi on Apr 18, 2018

I'm getting familiar with SW Simulation solving some excersises from my mechanics of materials textbook. When it comes to shearing stresses, I'm getting results (close, but) different from zero on the outside corners of rectangular cross sections. In theory they should be zero. Am I getting these results due to a margin of error in the simulations or because some other reason?
