Is it possible to use layer command without dialog box in draftsight like I used to with autocad?  I just want to lock then later unlock a layer by the command line instead of using a clunky dialog box

In autocad it was ddlayer for w/ dialog box or layer for just command prompt.  I think it was also _layer for command prompt only, but that brings up the dialog box in draftsight.
