open solidworks enterprise administration window just right click on this and add server.
write your server name and add it with authenticate user name and password.
Now you are able to see the vault that you create.
right click on it and choose create local view.
What if the server's right click context menu shows Explore instead of Create local view...? I have already uninstalled, rebooted, and reinstalled EPDM twice.
Choose the Explore. It will take you to the View in Windows Explorer.
Otherwise you can see where the location is by looking at the registry:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\SolidWorks\Applications\PDMWorks Enterprise\Databases\"Your Valut Name"]
The ShellRoot is where the View was created at.

Kip is correct. If Explorer is seen in the administration tool, a local view has already been created. If you are using a Windows 7 or Vista system with UAC enabled - it could be that there are some left over registry entries from a previously removed view. So if there is no local view created, but you still see explorer, check the following registry keys:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\SolidWorks\Applications\PDMWorks Enterprise\Databases\"your vault name"
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\SolidWorks\Applications\PDMWorks Enterprise\Databases\"your vault name"
if no view is set up - there should be no entries in those keys.
