sry we are on different programs. Thought that would have helped you out. not even sure if you can hide them in that version.
maybe copy the view and then deleting the section line in the copied view will work for you. then you can hide the whole view.
If you select the section line, then move your mouse cursor up the corner of the section line, you cursor will change to this symbol:
Then you can drag the arrow up and down to wherever you want.
Also, if you select the little green box at the end of the arrow, you can move the arrow left and right.
But if you really want to hide the section line, then select:
Now, all this is done in SW 2017 SP5. I have no idea if any of this is available in SW 2007 or not. See if it is.
Hello,
If you have layers in SW2007, you can create a new layer and set its color to the background (white).
Then select the arrow and move it the "white" layer.
Press Ctrl+Q and it will force the change.
I'm sure the off and no print layer options are recent so I didn't suggest this even though it would work.
I hope this helps.
Cheers,
Kevin
EDIT: Even if this works, it may show up again when a PDF is created.
You should not remove this arrow is part of a standard drafting, you should modify as mention on mr. DAN comment.
I assume that this is for a drawing that you have opened in eDrawings. Correct?
If so, then can't you just delete or hide the entire section line, then redraw one in?
If NOT, then I would advise moving this discussion to the Drawings section: Drawings and Detailing . When you edit eh original post, you should see a Move command on the right.
If this is for a question in a Solidworks drawing, then the only way that I would know how to would be to hide the entire section line and then redraw one in. You could even make it coincident to the original sketch that created the original section line so that if the section is moved, the drawn line will move with it.
