This one has me stumped. We have an admin image install that gets rolled out to everyone along with a locked settings file. One the whole, this works well for us.
We have an isolated case where an engineer is using a laptop with a 12month term standalone license for a special project - SW has been installed as an individual install, not by the admin image. His computer ID does not appear in the admin options tool list of computers. His options are getting locked.
He is on the same network, and he does have a desktop on the same domain that is an admin image install with locked settings. I presume this has something to do with it.
Hopefully someone out there has an idea on what it might be thankyou.
I am having this same issue. Has anyone figured out how to fix this?
In my case, SW was originally installed on my machine using an administrative image with a settings file which locked most system settings. That original admin image has since been deleted and I've even uninstalled (completely, deleted registry entries and all) and reinstalled locally, but SW is still picking up the settings configuration from the now-deleted admin image installation and accompanying settings file!
Does anybody know where else these settings are stored and why my shiny new installation is referencing them?!
