Exporting of X,Y,Z of reference points using a new coordinate system

Question asked by Jason Rawls on Apr 12, 2018

I noticed that there are macros for exporting reference geometry points into a excel file for x, y, and z. "Create Data Table.swp" The issue I am having is that it exports the file per the default coordinate system of solidworks instead of the new coordinate system that I have placed in that file. Would one have to save the file out as a STP file with the new reference points inserted in the STP file and rerun this macro or is there an option for selecting the new coordinate system that can be implemented within this macro? I deal with a lot of imported parts that I have to insert a new coordinate or a flat pattern that requires a new coordinate system. Sorry for the length of the question.
