Sheet metal rules

I like to make pre made CAD templates for the different material thickness, material type, bend radius id, k factor, etc.

The bend numbers (radius id, k factor, etc) are calculated from the press brake tooling used for that material thickness and type.

When the CAD operator is ready to make a sheet metal part they pick the appropriate template and start to design.

I would like to add to the sheet metal rules that SolidWorks already has when starting a sheet metal part. I would like the ability to add a minimum flange length. This way when designing, if a flange  is too small for that material thickness, SolidWorks would give an error not allowing the flange to be made.

The ability to have this would help the CAD operator, who does not have a lot of sheet metal experience, avoid costly rework errors and not allow a design with a flange that is too small to make, get to the shop floor.

Thank you
