    Draw Compare

    Bryan Obermeyer
I've been thinking about using this for check prints and was wondering if anyone uses this and would have any advice.
I understand the basics of how this works (it compares drawing images at the bit level).
It will mark changes of ANYTHING that changes position such as view moves, correct?

That is correct. so if someone nudges a view, the whole thing will appear changed. My boss uses this tool to check revisions all the time.

Are there any positive aspects of Draw/Compare? My boss wants us to start using it, but many of us think it's too time-consuming and unnecessary to create .bmp files. We move views and dimensions frequently and don't want to "compare" that. Can specific changes be "hidden" if they are not meaningful?

              Thanks!
