This assembly file is down loaded from MySWX. Pneumatic Tire in Standard configuration is replaced with Plastic Tire and this component was suppressed in other configuration from 2 to 10. But it is showing double component except in Configuration 10. What is the reason for that?
Open design table and edit suppress states yourself or right click to part and select "configure component"
It is not the matter of tinkering the DT but why DT is not responding to changes in Configuration Properties.

Were the changes to config made prior to DT or after DT?
Changes were made by editing the config from 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10 but DT is reflecting the change made in config 10 only. It is not reflecting changes made in config in 2,4,6 and 8.
This setting only works for newly added components after this setting is on and would not affect the exiting components.

From my reading these settings apply only to 'New' things
The extra options using suppress from the edit menu are useful, when configs are a bit messed up,,
but just as Fatih initially mentions if you have a DT that's an easiest way to clean it all up .

Pneumatic Tire is removed and New part (Plastic Tire) is inserted in Standard configuration. And New part is suppressed in other configurations but it is effective only in Setting 10 not in other configuration (Setting 2,4,6,8). That means only Setting 10 is showing Pneumatic Tire other configurations are showing double (Pneumatic & Plastic Tire).
What is the reason for that?

I just suppressed them in various configs and DT is reflecting the changes correctly. Can you delete and recreate the DT?
