Just like the title says! I've been all over this forum trying to find an answer or some to contact directly.... wasted my time so far..............
Richard Doyle would be the guy to ask about forum issues.. I am not sure about calling....but you could call your VAR. maybe?
That doesn't seem to work.......
Kept trying to go to Jane Doe.... Guess the forums work about as well as Solidworks... buggy!!!
Does kind of Highlight the problem with an Internet based society... no one you can talk to face to face or at least voice to voice.
You should be able to message Richard and I am sure he will respond. Be aware that today is Good Friday and many people have today off. Probably about half the country. LOL Just select his link and go to his profile, then click the message button.
Good Friday you say...... Really.....
yah EVERBODY but me... and apparently you are off...................
Thanks for the info... on the messaging that is.

Who is your VAR?
If they won't take your calls - I would report them.
Can you describe your issue with the forum here?
I am not getting email notification for my forum posting even though all relevant buttons are on. Is it correct to contact my VAR for this issue?
Your problem is either with a forum setting or your email settings and the VAR is not likely to be of any help there.
Can you post an example of what check boxes you have checked - some with go to your inbox in your forum login page and others will send it to your inbox with your email server. If it is not getting to your email, it could be that there is a setting there that is sending it to a junk file, or it might think it is spam or similar do to your email settings and filters.
The VAR is not going to be able to help with forum issues. They are not in charge of the Forum.
The VAR is there for software, hardware and training type problems.
The regular forum users can help with many forum items having to do with finding a post or similar, but if it is a functional problem with the forum itself (or "Jive" - for Forum host software) - then Richard Doyle should be your first contact - if he is on holiday, vacation or traveling he may not see items for a day or two but he is really good about getting on when he can and solving problems. If he is away there may be a bit of a delay bit he will either get to it when he can or there may be somebody else monitoring when he can not.
Also be aware that many problems with Jive will require him to contact the people at Jive and that may take some time with them being unavailable or they may be trying to find a solution - so even if you don't hear back right away, it doesn't mean nothing is being done.
I have already posted about this issue.
Notification about posting
If you look at the message a little more you will see that while Jane Doe is in the to column, Richard's name is shown below that. This is the way the messenger form looks. You can add another person where "Jane Doe" is shown and that name will be added below. Go ahead and enter your message without adding any names in the to box and Richard will get it.
