SimulationXpress only works on single-body part files. If you would like to run Simulation on assemblies you need the full, non-Xpress, package of Simulation to do this.
Sad, the only two licences we have in the office are on computers for two people who A) aren't engineers B) Don't even know what F.E.A. is. I wish licenses could be shared over a network, so that anyone can use them as long as it not more than 2 people at a time.

A floating network license that allows many machines to be installed with SOLIDWORKS but limits the number of simultaneous users is possible. Maybe you want to look into transitioning over to one of these setups (SOLIDWORKS Floating Network Licenses).
