My drawing template borders are showing up lighter weight than the rest of my group. Same drawing and same template even. Any ideas what might be causing this?
If the line weights are noticed on an exported PDF this may be the cause -
Under System options / Export . Select PDF under File format.
Hope that helps.
It doesn't appear to be.
It shows the template border lighter weight in solidworks than it should be (and than what is shown on any other system here), and prints / exports both with the lighter border.
Are the drawings (same template) using the same sheet format?
Have you checked the document properties all have the same line thickness?
Is everyone looking at a different Drafting Standard setup?
It all seems to be alright. I think it must be something in system options. If it was something in document properties would it not transfer over to another system?
Have you modified the line thickness on your system? If so do you have a modified drafting system?
We have not but this is a new system and some system settings were lost as the old computer crashed and settings could not be copied.
old computers crash...was it 3 or 30?
Computer, so user specific settings were lost but I grabbed the system settings from another computer and that fixed it. I had manually reset everything before but must have missed something.
This is strange behavior. use the copy settings wizard either your settings are off or theirs are off. See it this makes a change in it.
That's a good idea. I'll give that a try. Copy someone else's settings over to the system.
