Things have really changed since the last time I was on the forum. Since last week.
Barely found that little place to ask a question.
Plus it is even less user friendly.
Its not the forum it how you get here used to get here with the "General information" at the right.
Cannot do it as easy as before.
A lot of people access the forum via the "All Content" area. This is a pretty good way to see.....well....all content.
As Dan Pihlaja said, I also follow the forum from the All Content page. And there's a link in the Actions drop-down (just to the left of the "All Content" link he highlighted) to start a new Discussion instead of "that little place to ask a question".
I think what he's referring to is that they removed the link to the Forums on the updated website. Now you have to go to MySolidWorks to get to the forum:
And if you do that it is an awful interface:
The solution is to access the forums through forums.solidworks.com . Even though they apparently removed that link from the website.
The new forum link on the main SW page is actually under the "Support" dropdown. Not sure why that changed, but there it is.
Thanks for the clarification. I didn't catch that. I guess it does make some sense. Though, I'd have thought it would be more appropriate to have it under Community.
