Lofts are driving me nuts.

In a previous question, I was trying to understand Lofts and getting bodies to merge. (Thread # 217978). Since then I now have a much better idea of what's going on.

However, I ran into an interesting problem today. I went to make a solid loft. It created a loft, but it doesn't look like a solid. It looks more like a surface with one end capped.Even more interestingly, It created the loft, but the main body disappeared.

Going up to the top of the feature tree, the "solid bodies" folder only shows one body. There are no Surface bodies.

The problems are with the "OUTLET" features in my model. After a little trial and error, I was able to get the "INLET" loft to work by doing it as a surface and then thickening it. I would think that the Outlet would work the same way. However no luck. I've tried various methods, including as a solid, as a surface with filled surface ends knitted together, as a surface that gets thickened, and other variations. Sometimes it works, most of the time it doesn't. And even when it does work, it can't get it to merge, even if i try to do it as a separate intersection feature.

Please take a look at the attached model and let me know if you have any suggestions.

Thanks.
