Is there a way to show the xyz coordinates of the mouse pointer in the composer file
to get the Labels as Inch/feet you have to Change the File>Document properties (for the actual Project, save the document afterwards!) and Standard Document Properties (for new projects).
To get length of tube an pipes i think there is only one way: use the API to create your own function. Or have a look to a Composer Consultant which will be able to help you.
There is a Label to do this:
Author > Label > Coordinates
Why do you want to show coordinates of the mouse pointer?
We replicate major industrial facility's piping and tubing in 3D and use the custom properties to tract inspection and repair results. When mining for data to prepare for yearly maintenance it would be beneficial to know the elevation of a specific piece of tube or pipe. I know that I can create a Coordinate Label place it where I want, but I just want to know if there is a setting to have the numbers show all of the time, maybe on the status line or something of that nature. Additionally, the numbers on the Coordinate Label don't seem to want to change to feet instead of centimeters, any input would be appreciated on that matter as well. I am also aware of the setting Display Statistics and it does not show the Y coordinate. Thank you for your time.
Thank you, much appreciated
