I have a drawing with a top level Assembly and several sub-assemblies.

1st problem is that the drawing won't allow me to promote a sub unless the assembly is opened to that configuration related to the drawing I'm working on.

The 2nd problem is that the promote does not stay. After successfully promoting the sub, saving the drawing, close and then re-open, the drawing reverts back to the old BOM (no promoted sub).

Has anyone else seen this behavior and does anyone have a fix?
