What is the difference way to use these features?
As I understand, the major difference between the two is the way the sketch is projected. To illustrate, I have created a cylinder and a sketch of a rectangle. The rectangle has been projected onto the cylinder in two ways, with the resultant surface shaded in red.
Split line - This creates a projection that is normal to the sketch plane. If you could draw lines from the corners of the sketch to the corners of the resultant split face, they would be perpendicular to the sketch plane.
Wrap (scribe) - As the name suggests, the sketch is wrapped onto the cylinder. Looking normal to the sketch plane, the resultant face looks shorter.
Great demonstration Wing Hoe Tan.
Thank you Mr.Wing Hoe Tan.Yes I saw the difference. It's really a useful feature.I also saw that the arc length of these(Split line & Scribe) is not same.
