Hi All,
In SW Simulation, is there a way to put a Safety Factor value? Its easy to update the analysis if the client says they want a factor of 1.75 instead of 2.
Thanks in advance.

If I understand correctly: You want to define the desired output instead of the input?
That is possible if you use a design study icm with optimization. That is possible with Simulation Professional or higher.
Janko,
Standard practice is for example if a have an actual load of 2 tonnes on a part. We will then multiply with a Safety Factor (suppose 1.5 or 2). So the load we input in Simulation will be 3 tonnes directly, or 4 tonnes. No if the client comes back and say that we want to do the analysis with a safety factor of 3.25, then we need to edit the whole loading again to come up with a final value of the loading. So if we have a factor tab, that is useful and we can easily change the factor, rather than the actual loads.

The Load Case Manager is the tool for that. You need Simulation Professional or Simulation Premium.
