How to remove fillets from imported file

Hello Everyone,

I am new for solidworks and I am not quite sure if this is the right section to ask this question.

I have imported feature and I need to simply the file by removing the features, like fillets from the original drawing. I tried to use direct editing, but it only allowed to modify the radius. I tried to select the fillet and delete it, but it would delete every thing. I tried to select the fillet and delete the face under direct editing, that would remove the fillet, but it also left a gap! I saw some similar discussion back to Aug. 2017, which didn't gave a practical solution.

Any suggestion?

Hi Jingye Li,
Can you roll back up the feature tree to where the fillets were created and then delete them at that stage with no affect?

  Hi Dave Bear, Thanks for the reply. As I mentioned, it is an imported part which I can not see the fillets creation step on the feature tree.

Jingye,,, When you direct edit the radii on an imported part (assuming no faults) you should be able to create a radius feature. If that doesn't work you might try feature recognition. In either case if you are successful in creating a radius feature you can delete (or suppress) that feature in the tree and simplify the model.

Or. do a delete face with the patch option on each radii.

  Hi Dennis,
  When I open the file, the solidwork tried to do feature recognition, but it shows due to overlapping parts solidwork can not proceed. I tried to modify/add fillets on the corner which already have fillet (the same one I want to remove). Please refer to the screenshots below 1) as opened, 2) I added the fillet on top of the original fillet and it shows the fillet in the feature tree; 3) I deleted the fillet but that only brought me back to ground zero with on change on the original fillet
  Is there any miss understanding of your suggestion?
