So I'm trying to imitate a cloth wrapping around a pipe that has 4 evenly spaced rods along the perimeter reinforcing the structure between the flanges. My question is how to make the wrapping, which I made using a helical sweep feature, go over both the rods and the pipe surface (aka be tangent to both even though they are on different planes and separate bodies). Right now the wrapping will only fit over the rods and not the pipe as well. Currently it is in part format (preferred) however it can be remade in an assembly if necessary. Running Solidworks 2014 if it matters.
