Please need help to do this swept cut usin an Surface Split trajectory, the error is because of zero thickness, but i dont understand why...
I am guessing (since you didn't share the part itself, it will remain a guess) that you are getting 0 thickness because the edge of the sweep profile is creating 0 thickness with the inside diameter of your part. Try extending the sweep profile slightly inside the inside diameter and see if you get the same issue.
O, it could be with the squiggly area making the 0 thickness as the profile meets the top of bottom surface.
An example of when a zero thickness error happens when trying to cut at the exact end of a circle. There is such a tiny amount of space that the computer cannot calculate that. give it a tiny bit of space away or into it and it will work.
