I had a problem with filling another material between two parts in assembly. is there any command to use to fill gaps.
2018 SOLIDWORKS Help - Deleting Faces
Agreed, best method imho. That's what I use when I need to defeature parts generally.
Tulasi, what gap do you need to fill in? We need more information.
Those are two plastic parts. we use epoxy to fill gap. I want to show in assembly we use epoxy like below.
I used extrude command but its uneven height and profile. is there any way to do.
Create a new part and adapt is to these 2 parts in assembly
see att. assembly
Perhaps a Combine>Subtraction might work.
Create a part that's the same OD as the larger part (assuming you want to fill into the fillets) and long enough to encompass the region of concern.
Do the subtraction and see what comes out of it.
You'll probably have to do some additional cuts to trim away extra material.
Can you add your part here for us to look at?
As Tom dunn said, having the Part file to look at would be a big help. The method for posting files here isn't intuitive. See How can I attach a file to a forum post? if you aren't familiar with the process.
