I'm trying to make a spiral to represent the induction charging coil in an assembly but its not working and I really can't seem to figure it out! I'm calling on all you amazing people to help me find out what's wrong!

It seems to me that your sketch stretches on the entire length of your helix. The reason I say that is because of the yellow outlining which represents the preview. If it is the case, know that your profile crosses your path, which is probably the reason why it won't work.
If you could post the part or just screenshots of the sketches along with the feature tree perhaps we could help you a bit more.
Red: wrong profile that I believe you have
Blue : correct profile that you should have

It looks to me that your profile crosses your path, make sure your diameter is twice smaller then the helixis's pitch (If that is the correct term)
is there enough space between your circle so the sweep is not hitting itself as it sweeps around?
Thank you so much! Don't know why I didn't think of that! I think it might be simply because I didn't get a rebuild error is just did something unexpected!

Another potential remedy is to use a Pierce relation to relate the path and profile.
Sweeps like using Pierces, so if your relation isn't a pierce, see below:
