What I would like to do is have all my horizontal dimensions with the text Broken Leader, Aligned Text and all my vertical dimensions Broken Leader, Horizontal Text. Basically, I want all dimensions to read horizontally and within the leaders. I have tried looking for an option in SolidWorks where the text position would change depending on the orientation of the dimension. I know that I could just change one dimension and then use the Format Painter to change the others, but I would like to avoid this and find an overall solution as I am dimensioning the drawing or as a post procedure using a macro. Following the macro approach, I could just push one button and have all the dimensions text position change accordingly.
