I've already opened Solidworks with Admin privileges and reset the file associations. I've chosen the default program to be Solidworks Launcher, but when I double click a solidworks file, any, it does nothing. I have to right click, open with solidworks.exe and it'll open. Or open within solidworks, or drag and drop.
I know this question has been done to death, but my searches are coming up with the same result.
TIA
I believe I fixed the problem. I was having trouble with my equation giving me the syntax error. The equation is good. I found this thread showing the fix for it. Re: Not allowing equation in dimension value box? Look for Kaan Arikan's post and follow the link.
It says to close solidworks --> search and delete file, "swvba.tlb" --> reopen solidworks, solidworks launcher will run a setup and create a new swvba.tlb.
I'm not 100% positive this is the fix for my problem, but this was the only change I've made to solidworks and it seems to be running properly now.
