What's the best way to shade a part in Composer; make the background parts (actors) white and shade the active actor gray to make the subject pop? Custom Render Mode doesn't seem to do the trick.
for such a technical illustration i only use Flat technical. In most cases combined with Smart outlines.
this is the best way to use this illustration for technical output as svg or eps.
there is no professionell rendering possible within composer.
- Use environment effects
- property emission is useful to make white look like white
- user different Lighting modes (Property of Background/Viewport)
Thanks, and noted, I just want to highlight the active part, like this:
I've tried coloring the assembly white, then coloring the active actor gray - that works, but I should have to take that extra coloring step if there's custom render mode (Render>Custom). I read that this is the prescribed method, but it doesn't seem to do the trick.
