Hello I'm new to SolidWorks 2017 as a student.
I'm wondering is there any way to merge sketch layers into one parent layer like one can do in Photoshop?
The reason I want to do this is I have a cross section of entities for an ironing board of sketch layers I have made for half of the side. I want to merge the sketch layers either into a parent layer so I can still edit the child layers, or merge the existing layers into one layer to effect the overall layer to then mirror over the other side without having to model out the other side in the example below:
Or if there is a better way to do this, I'm open to learn new methods.
Sincerely,
Christopher Stapleton
