For 2d Nesting efficiency, I was inquiring whether or not there is a faster way to export 3D faces into 2d .DWG files. I wasn't sure if there is a way to export more than one at a time, which is how we currently do it. thank you
If you File > Save As > DWG and click ok, you'll get the option to select the views that you want to export. You can then save all the selected views to a single file or a separate file for each view (Tools > Options > Export > DWG/DXF)
Thank you Iain,
I need to export multiple faces from a part, and not multiple views at a time. A single Part of mine might consist of 20 or more separate faces I need to export into 2d, each face representing different Sheet Metal Parts and Thicknesses.
Apologies for misunderstanding, would you be able to share an example part file?
