Title. The end CAD I'm trying to make more modular is an assembly that looks like this (001)
which is, through any combination of patters, assembled from three features that looks like this before patterning (003)
The core issue I have now is that I want the user to be able to change the parameters "N_L", "N_T", "S_L", "S_T", and the rest, as can be seen in the equation stack below (004)
and have it all update beautifully. My issue is that when I pattern it all in one direction to look like (002), and I combine, if I increase the number of instances patterned, the new bodies aren't added into the combine, and if I decrease the number of instances patterned, the combine fails.
I don't want to have the right U, left U, and cylinder be instanced a comically large number of times in individual bodies, so how can I make it so every body created in that set of equations is combined; no more, no less?
