Interesting issue Jake...never seen this, specially for every simulation; optimum action would be contacting your VAR for further investigation on your machine. You may end up with a reinstall. Good luck!
Have you found a solution for your problem? I'm in the same situation and nothing seems to help. I'm able to load the .cpt file as results but the .fld file is resisting. Did you reinstall?
I never found a direct fix to the problem, but I did manage to get the error to stop happening. Out of the things I did, I don't know exactly which one kept the error from happening, but here are the things I did:
- Made a brand new directory on my desktop for the CAD and sim files with nothing else in them
- Redid my CAD (wasn't a tall task for me as my geometry was very simple)
- Started the sim over from scratch
So basically, I just started from scratch. There was one instance where even after doing all this, the error continued, but it was just that once and everything worked fine from there on after.
It's worth noting that I was writing a tutorial for undergraduate engineering students (I am a graduate engineering student and teaching assistant) which I wrote step by step as I went through the simulation myself, and none of my students had the error, thankfully. So, it must have been caused by something I did in the first few sims I set up.
Hope this helps.
I have seen this often. I clone the project and rerun and that fixes it. Cloning seems to be the key for me.
